Hi, I’m Liv and at my core, I’m a storyteller who believes that our personal narratives inform our strategic direction as learners, businesses, and organizations.
With experience as a creative writer and editor for both print and digital magazines, as well as an extensive background in digital marketing and education, I place a lot of value on how our stories and motivations can translate to actionable steps towards dreams being achieved. Whether it’s exploring educational opportunities or experiences aligned with our values, or helping a brand create a meaningful ad campaign.
I believe that in a constantly changing society, it is important to check in with ourselves and the others around us when it comes to the goals we strive to achieve. How can we apply our current strengths in new ways? Are the challenges we facing telling us to keep going or to pursue a new direction? How do we balance our identities with the needs of the people around us?
These are just some of the questions I explore through my various professional and personal endeavors.

During my time as an undergraduate at the University of Denver, it was the height of the pandemic. In this sea of uncertainty, I became invested in expanding my experience and credibility as a storyteller. While my passion for creative writing is inherent, I wanted to apply my love for crafting stories to a new realm altogether. Marketing was my minor in college, and with that background, I spent more time exploring how I could make a brand for myself that merged writing and business.
When I’m not writing or managing social media profiles, you can find me hiking, fly-fishing, or traveling outside of the Rocky Mountain region.
Social Media Marketing
I’ve worked with several clients over the past two years, including portrait and real estate photographers, small eCommerce businesses, and literary journals. Personal Essays
It all started with “Revering the Puzzle Piece, Not the Puzzle,” and the essays to follow were puzzle pieces coming together in their own right. Personal essays are the perfect balance of nonfiction and poetic prose that makes it read like a conversation from one heart to the next.
Poetry
After winning the Carl Sandburg National Poetry Contest in 2018, it has become my life mission to be a better poet than I was the day before. How I explore my technique and voice in poetry speaks to my work ethic and my persona in the professional world as well.
